About the Knights
Trevor Lance Knight is the founder and preacher of the ministry with his name’s sake: Knights for the King! He is the husband of Jessica and the dad of Elisha and Parker. Born to Larry and Lisa (Davison) Knight, he grew up in Johnson City, TN. The Knights were always in church, and Trevor got saved at a young age after a revival meeting.
Trevor felt God’s call to preach around age 14, and he received encouragement and opportunities to do so in his home church Cedar Creek Baptist (Gray) under Pastor Robert Fultz. Trevor received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry (ETSU) and a bachelor’s degree in Biblical studies (VBC) in 2011. After working at Eastman Chemical Company, he was elected to pastor full-time at Rock Heritage Baptist Church in 2015, where he still pastors.
Since then, Trevor has completed a master’s degree in ministry (Crown) and is working on his doctoral degree (Bethany). Trevor enjoys preaching God’s Word, reading, doing Kung Fu, learning new things, and spending time with his wife and sons. Trevor and his family just want to be knights (servants) serving the King! Life, after all, is about fearing God and keeping His commandments! Ecclesiastes 12:13.
Jessica Knight is the wife of Trevor and the mom of Elisha and Parker. She was born in SC and grew up by the beach, which is still one of her favorite places to be. Now she lives in the mountains of TN. She was saved at 9 years old and rededicated her life to the Lord in 2011.
She is currently a stay-at-home mom, a homeschool teacher, and a pastor’s wife at Rock Heritage Baptist Church. She teaches Sunday school and is involved in a prayer group called “Mountain Moving Mamas.” She loves spending time with family and friends, painting, reading, and drinking coffee. Her favorite roles are being married to her best friend and taking care of her sweet boys. Her favorite verses are 1st Samuel 1:27-28!
May we all be lent to the Lord and serve Him as our King. She is striving to be a true knight for the true King!
